Meet Auggie! Auggie is around 6 years old. Auggie needs a home that is quiet and with someone who is an experienced cat owner. Auggie should be the only pet in the home, and should not go to a home with small children. 

Auggie's owner passed away 3 years old. During the past 3 years, Auggie's family has tried to socialize him with the family pets, but sadly, Auggie is not adjusting well. They feel Auggie would be happier in a home without other pets or children. This has not been an easy decision for them to make, but they just want the best for Auggie. 

Auggie does like to be brushed and petted, but does NOT like to be picked up. Auggie can bite and scratch sometimes with little warning. Auggie is also very scared of loud noises and will hide during thunderstorms. 

Auggie does like to play with catnip toys and toys on a string. 

Auggie would love to be able to find a home that is quiet, without other pets and children, and with an experienced cat owner who can learn his cues.
