Meet Sophia. Sophia is around 2.5 years old. Please read carefully to learn about Sophia and her needs. 

Sophia is a Maine Coon who is in need of some TLC, but only on her terms. Sophia has been in her current home since she was a kitten, but is not super friendly. She will only tolerate being petted for a few seconds before she swats. However, part of this issue could be the fact that she is not feeling 100%. Sophia has stomatitis. Sophia is not up to date on regular vet care. Stomatitis can be common in Maine Coons. You can learn about Stomatitis by clicking here. Her current owner is unable to provide the care she needs to get the stomatitis taken care of. 

Sophia should not be adopted into a home with children due to her temperament. Sophia does not get along well with cats, so her new home should have no cats. Sophia should be okay with dogs. 

Sophia needs a home with an experienced Maine Coon owner with someone who has the means to care for her.
