THE FOLLOWING CAT IS BEING CARED FOR IN A LOVING MCR FOSTER HOME. *Clarisse & Kringle are siblings. It would be great if they could be adopted together, but it is not required.* Meet Kringle! This beautiful boy loves being petted, and having his cheeks scratched puts a big grin on his face! He likes napping on the desk, preferably snuggled up to you. He sleeps on the bed with his people and has even started creeping up to enjoy a warm lap! Kringle loves chasing strings and feather toys, but his true passion is soccer. He often practices with his little foam ball by himself. When they were kittens, Kringle and his sister, Clarisse, were kept in a crate, all alone in a basement. They were not handled or socialized, so when they arrived at the rescue they were practically wild animals. However, volunteers have had tremendous success transforming Kringle from an extremely distrustful, terrified cat into a nice boy who absolutely soaks up attention! Kringle is still "working on himself," and would do best in a quiet household with an adopter who has previous experience owning cats. He is not suited to a family with small children: due to his lack of socialization, Kringle can become overstimulated and nip at hands. Kringle remains cuddly for longer and longer periods of time, so we are hopeful that when he feels secure in a home of his own, he won't be prone to that protective behavior. Despite his rough kittenhood, Kringle is ready to return affection 10-fold. He has been so brave and resilient and deserves a wonderful home where he can continue to blossom into the sweet boy he was meant to be! Click here to learn more about Clarisse. Kringle's adoption fee is $200.00. There is a $25.00 discount for adopting a pair of MCR cats, so the fee for both Kringle and Clarisse would be $375.00. Your adoption fee includes spay/neuter, FVRCP Vaccine, Rabies Vaccine, Combo Test (Neg/Neg), dewormer, flea prevention, microchip, and wellness visit.
