MITSY is a beautiful, spirited cat with a strong personality. She loves people but not cats so a home with no other cats, or perhaps one submissive cat, would be best for her. Her hair is incredibly soft, and she does a great job of grooming so only occasional brushing is sufficient to catch those areas she cannot easily reach. Mitsy likes the usual kitty toys but her very favorite is the feather on a stick - what fun!

In Mitsy's previous home, she was devoted to her male caregiver and frequently sought him out for some petting on his lap. She has only been around teens so a home with older (8 or older), respectful children is acceptable; because Mitsy does not like to be picked up, she should not go to a home with younger children. She has never been around dogs but can be dog tested if that is a requirement for your home. 

MITSY'S ideal home would be with a couple or single person...she was so devoted to her male human in her previous home. Windows to watch the wildlife will truly make her happy!

**SPECIAL NOTE: When Mitsy was being transferred to her foster home, she escaped from the carrier but was not recovered for two months although her whereabouts were known, and the foster was feeding her. When she was recovered and returned to foster care, she seemed to seriously want to go outside. That has settled down but anyone who adopts should take extra care to not give her the opportunity to escape especially in the beginning..

Adoption Fee - $200 includes spay, combo test (neg/neg/neg), rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, deworming, flea preventative and a microchip registered to Maine Coon Rescue
