Laney is a beautiful, striped silver girl with some fun Maine Coon features: excessively furry feet and pointy ears that stand straight up. Besides her good looks, she is also very good natured: she transitions easily from playing like crazy to affectionate lap-kitty. Laney sidles up to her foster mom for pets before falling asleep on the desk. She is very polite, sitting patiently when getting her nails clipped or receiving medicine.

Laney is a bit   reserved and cautious when meeting people or exploring a new room. She quickly warms up to new people, especially if they want to play with her. Laney's favorite toys are a piece of cardboard on a wire and a stuffed shark on a string.

Laney is very close with her sister, Louise. They spend hours each day grooming each other and napping together. She and Louise take turns tearing after each other-- a game that always ends in a wrestling session. She loves her little sister, but definitely gets  jealous if she is getting more attention or toy-time!

NOTE: Laney and Louise came to Baltimore, Maryland from a high-kill shelter in West Virginia. They have been though so much to gether; they look out for each other.  W e do not know how they would react to being separated, so  their foster mom would be most comfortable if they are adopted as a pair.
