Maine Coon Rescue cannot guarantee the parentage or breed of cats on this site. THE FOLLOWING CATS ARE BEING CARED FOR IN A LOVING MCR FOSTER HOME.     BIO: Up for adoption I present you with a TAIL. That's right! This cat's tail is bigger than he is!! It's so thick and fluffy! Rikki came in with some others from a hoarding situation. They were all surprisingly clean and healthy! He was very socialized as well. He is so friendly and sweet, but more shy than his foster mates. He prefers to sit and watch everything from the cat tree or his bed. He waits patiently for attention and doesn't beg for it like the others. It appears at first that he doesn't want attention, but when you pet him he rolls over and takes it all in! He gets all happy when being given individual attention. He also raises his face to touch noses with you, while his brother jumps up and tries to steal the spotlight! I just keep giving Rikki all the love and attention he deserves since his brother already gets his own attention. Rikki does well with the other cats, but I think he would prefer to be the king of his castle. It would be great if he were the only cat so you can see how truly special he is. In my opinion his personality would come out more if he was the only cat. However if you do have another cat he would be okay with that I think. He doesn't fight or anything. Just sort of stays to himself a lot. I can tell with individual attention he would come out of his shell more. I think he would be okay with a dog but he has not been tested with one. With proper introductions he might do okay. As Rikki gets older he will fill out some and get bigger. That tail will still be bigger than him I'm guessing! I'm sure once he is in a loving home environment he will be more outgoing. Why not see how he fits into your family by submitting an application today!
