Daisy is a 3 yr old, brown tabby Maine Coon mix girl with the signature fluffy mane, super soft fur, and long bushy tail.  She is very affectionate, loves to be petted and receive a lot of attention.  Not a treat afficionado, but loves bell peppers and catnip and she discovered in foster care that she does like wet lickable treats. Her favorite toys include balls with bells in them that she can knock down the stairs, etc, and make her human go after them for her. Although she is a bit shy and skittish around new people and new places, watch out - once she gets to know you, Daisy is quite loving.  Cuddling under blankets with her human is one of her favorite things to do.  Daisy would love a family who will give her lots of affection and cuddles and spoil her in every way!   Although she grew up with other cats and a small dog, it has become quite clear that Daisy would really prefer to be an only pet. If she feels intimidated by other pets she will hide and refuse to eat. She is also not a fan of sharing her facilities. Daisy desires to be hailed as queen of her furever household as an only cat.

Daisy grew up with two bonded 5-yr-old brothers, Shadow and Batman. MCR has a courtesy post up for Shadow and Batman, as they are also available for adoption through another local rescue. They are both stunning shiny black Domestic Short Hairs, have been neutered, and are sweet lovable boys with the cutest tiny kitten meows.

Adopters should be within 150 to 200 miles of Lake Ariel, PA.

Adoption Fee - $175 includes combo test (neg/neg), spay, rabies, and FVRCP vaccinations.  Daisy is also vaccinated against FeLV.   A complimentary microchip registered to Maine Coon Rescue is available.
