Maine Coon Rescue cannot guarantee the parentage or breed of cats on this site. THE FOLLOWING CATS ARE BEING CARED FOR IN A LOVING MCR FOSTER HOME.     BIO: Severus (yes like Severus Snape on Harry Potter) is way more loving and cuddly than his namesake! This boy was in my local shelter. I kept promising to bust him out as soon as my other foster left. The day finally arrived and I approached his kennel. He raised his head as if he knew it was me and I was there for another visit. No way was today his day. But....it was!!! When I pulled him out and closed his kennel for the last time, he immediately started wiggling in my arms and hugging me!! He was so excited and I had never seen a cat do that before. I knew he was special from day one and he proved it in that moment. He has continued to prove how wonderful he is here in my home. He stays in my daughter's room and she loves him so much. He loves laying on her and sleeping as you can tell from the photos! He also likes to snuggle up in her blankets. He is such a lover! He just wants affection all the time and we are more than happy to oblige. My other daughter gave him a little rubber duck toy and he carries it around. We are trying to get a picture of him doing this but he drops it as we try to take the pic! He likes balls too. He is a very playful kitty! His coat is so shiny and very soft and silky. He's a very handsome boy! He is a clean cat and has perfect litter box habits. When I take him anywhere such as vet visits, I do put him in a dog kennel so I can give him a litter box. When I didn't do that before, he made a mess in his carrier. I think riding makes his belly nervous and he has to go! So providing him a litter pan while in the car helps him stay nice and clean. This is good advice for any kitty! He does very well in the car though. He doesn't yowl and carry on like some cats. Oh no, this little prince is too regal for that nonsense! If you want a super snuggly, silky, soft, fluffy buddy this cat is the one for you. He knows he was made for love and someone out there needs some love in their life!
