Maine Coon Rescue cannot guarantee the parentage or breed of cats on this site. THE FOLLOWING CATS ARE BEING CARED FOR IN A LOVING MCR FOSTER HOME. Mufasa came to us from the local shelter. He is a whopping 15 pounds! I don't know how much of that is heart though haha He could stand to lose a couple of pounds. They had named him Lion but I didn't think it fit him at all, even though he does have the heart of a lion! He has a wonderful loving purrsonality and just wants to know love in return. He absolutely adores being petted and loved on. He follows me around like a dog. Could be that he wants that wet food! He will put his paws up on the table as I get the cans out. However when I put it down he will eat a little and move on. Not sure if he would like something different. The shelter tried him on several different foods. He isn't starving though and could maybe even stand to lose a pound or two in his tummy! He's a big baby who would be able to spread out on your lap and keep you warm this winter. He will need a lot of brushing to keep his long gorgeous coat from developing mats. Because he is so large, he has a bit of a hard time reaching them in some places and will need some help with that. He has a gorgeous mane too! In one photo he is sitting at the door and looks like a big ol handsome hunk!! He has a sweet expressive face like he waiting for you to tell him what the next adventure in life will be. Are you destined to be his next adventure companion?
