Crocus is my name because I was taken from one of those shelters that really has "no room".   I was identified as "feral".   Those are horrible words-  I was SCARED and shy and wanted to go back to my life on the street because it was all I knew.   THANKFULLY,  Maine Coon Rescue's foster in the area saw me and my sister and said--- NO WAY is this kitty feral!.   I got to go home with her that day and I am so GLAD!  I don't have as much play space as I would like because I really like to play but she has other fosters and so we have to share our play "house" with others.  I am still a little skittish sometimes and will only let you hold me for a short time.  I have to many things to see and do and sometimes,  I just want to get back to MY safe space- all these other kitties just drive me crazy.  I need my quiet time.   I hang out with my sister, Spring but when THOSE other "wild"  kitties come out,  it is too much for me.  SO,  if you are still reading and would love to offer this sweet and shy beautiful girl a home where I can relax and chill with you and maybe another kitty(not five!)  then please don't let another day go by without making my day, too!  I will love you forever even if it does take me a little while to warm up to you-- I promise I will!

Would probably be okay with small dog but not real impressed with our Border Collie.
