Please Bear in Mind: More often than not shelter, adoption, testing, vet fees are required when rescuing cats and kittens shelters. Your donation toward adopting a Maine Coon or Maine Coon Mix Rescued Cat or Kitten helps us to offset these costs.

MCR requires adoption donations as follows:

$150 - kittens spayed & neutered
($100 if too young to s/n - CONTRACT REQUIRED)
$125 for adults (1 year and up)
$100 for seniors 10 and up or special needs

Discounts for Multiple Adoptions at same time

We will reduce the adoption donation $25 for each MC/Mix adopted after the first.

Discounts for Buddies MC/Mix and non-MC/Mix

We will reduce the adoption donation $75 for the adoption of an MC/Mix and his buddy who is a Non-MC/Mix but need to be adopted together.

None of MCR's volunteers are paid employees and every penny you donate goes right back into rescue. It is because of your donations that we are able to continue with our rescue efforts. MCR and our Rescued Furbabies THANK YOU!

MCR functions as a Nationwide Rescue Network, serving to connect forever homes with needy MC/Mix cats. Many of the cats listed at the MCR Yahoo Group find their forever homes from either shelters or private homes, without ever entering MCR Foster Care.
